Summer Camps Houston

Our Discover Camp is crafted to be active, inspiring and nurturing. Providing an atmosphere where our young campers can grow healthy, learn creatively, and develop greater self-confidence is paramount to what we do.

Every week at Kidventure is a unique adventure designed to provide our campers with a wide variety of activities and events designed to promote fun, learning, and personal development. All activities are based on our 4 Cornerstones of Creativity, Physical Activity, Exploration, and Reflection.

DISCOVER ACTIVITIES (AGES 3-5)

Each camp week is Monday-Friday with the exception of the 4th of July this year. Each week is unique. The cost of each week of camp includes all special guest events and speakers, daily snack, and all camp activities. Please refer to your campsite for costs.

The most important factor in your child’s camp experience is the quality of their camp team. Without a doubt, we recruit, hire, train and maintain the most qualified and talented staff anywhere.

Lunches Menu

Each week we schedule Guest Events or Speakers for our Discovers. This will consist of alternating between rock climbing (NEW for 2019) and another special guest/activity throughout the summer. Please check your campsites schedule for specific information.

• All adult team. Most are Certified Teachers and Education Majors
• Low ratios 1:6 and 1:10
• Must have a driving desire to make a difference in the world
• All possess a fanatical amount of spirit & energy
• All CPR/First Aid certification for Infant, Child, and Adult
• All complete state-approved Sexual Abuse Prevention course
• Every team member goes through annual criminal background and sex offender registry checks. Yearly.

• Discovers Ages 3-5: 1:6 Ratio
• Explorers Ages 6-12: 1:10 Ratio
• Leads Ages 11-14: 1:10 Ratio

With over 24 years of summer camp experience, 30 campsites statewide, and thousands of kids and families having attended our camps, we’ve learned a thing or two about camp. And the most important thing we’ve learned, is you never stop improving what you are doing.
