camp Director

Being a Camp Director at Kidventure means leading the daily camp experience with confidence and care. You’ll support counselors, keep schedules and activities running smoothly, and set clear expectations that create a safe, positive environment for kids and staff.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone ready to take ownership, mentor a team, and help create a camp experience families trust.

As a Camp Director, you will:

  • Coach and develop your counselor team
  • Keep schedules and activities running smoothly
  • Communicate clearly with families and staff
  • Maintain a safe, organized camp environment
  • Lead by example, following the Kidventure Way

Role details:

  • $14.50–$17.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Paid training and onboarding
  • Full-time summer leadership position
  • Prior leadership experience with kids (camp, school, childcare, or youth programs) strongly preferred

Camp Counselor

Being a Camp Counselor at Kidventure means showing up for kids in ways that matter. You are a positive role model, a steady presence, and someone campers look to throughout the day. You’ll build real relationships, lead purposeful activities, and help create a safe environment where kids try new things and grow confident.

It’s a summer that challenges you, stretches you, and helps you grow alongside the kids.

As a Camp Counselor, you will

  • Lead activities that encourage teamwork, confidence, and fun
  • Build real connections with campers
  • Help keep kids safe, supported, and engaged
  • Be part of a team that shows up for each other

Position Qualifications:

  • $11.50–$14.50 per hour, depending on experience
  • Paid training and onboarding
  • Full-time, part-time, and substitute positions available

Adventure Krew

Adventure Krew members lead Team Building experiences across Kidventure sites, helping campers build confidence, communication, and teamwork through active, high-energy challenges, like Archery Tag.

In this role, you’ll guide groups through structured activities, set clear expectations, and create a safe environment where kids can move, collaborate, and challenge themselves.

This is a high-energy, hands-on role for someone who thrives leading groups, solving problems on the go, and staying active.

As a member of Adventure Crew, you will:

  • Travel independently between camp locations with provided equipment
  • Deliver engaging activities designed to build confidence and collaboration
  • Set up and break down equipment safely and efficiently
  • Help ensure camper safety during high-movement activities
  • Model the Kidventure Way and maintain professionalism across all sites.

Role details:

  • $16.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Paid training and activity-specific instruction
  • Part-time summer position

After School Counselor

As a counselor, your position is the most important. You are a role model for the students in your every action, spoken word, and the way you carry the Kidventure torch of excellence. You will be engaging with the students and building positive relationships with them through playing games, leading activities, and holding the kids to the same high expectations we hold ourselves to. We are about creating the ultimate environment where kids can just be kids, and we need great counselors to do that.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a group of 10-15 students
  • Collaborate with other counselors to create a fun and positive atmosphere
  • Lead fun, interactive activities
  • Assist students with homework
  • Administer daily set-up and clean-up of after school
  • Maintain and run a safe environment
  • Understand that you are making a difference in the lives of kids

Position Qualifications:

  • 18 or older
  • Love working with kids, and experience with kids/camps is preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Available Monday through Friday during the school year – 15 to 20 hours per week
  • Sub positions available for varied schedules
