DISCOVERERS: AGES 3-5
Our Discoverer Camp is crafted to be active, inspiring, and nurturing. Providing an atmosphere where our young campers can grow healthy, learn creatively, and develop greater self-confidence is paramount to what we do.
WHAT WE DO HAS PURPOSE AND MEANING
Kidventure is focused on prioritizing the mental and physical health of every child. Our curriculum is purposefully and intentionally designed to inspire growth, build confidence, and create meaningful experiences that help kids thrive. Every activity is crafted to encourage creativity, exploration, physical activity, and reflection, fostering well-rounded development. By combining fun with purpose, we ensure each camper leaves with lasting skills, memories, and a stronger sense of self.
THE 4 CORNERSTONES AND ACTIVITIES
The 4 Cornerstones are essential to the growth and development of your child. Those Cornerstones are Creativity, Exploration, Physical Activity, and Reflection. Each is instrumental in your child’s growth and drives everything that we do at camp. We have taken the power of camp as a platform to help develop the physical, social, and academic potential of each and every child – in an environment that is exhilarating, fun, and memorable. Every game, activity, and event at camp is designed to foster one or more of these pillars.
1. CREATIVITY
Creativity in camp means using imagination, pushing boundaries, and finding new ways to solve problems while celebrating individuality.
Activities like exploring Creativity Centers, experimenting with Process Art, or engaging in storytelling at Imagination Centers empower kids to express their ideas and opinions. This freedom helps them discover their voice, contribute meaningfully to the group, and build confidence.
By embracing self-expression, camps celebrate each child’s uniqueness and foster a deeper appreciation for diversity.
ACTIVITIES
Creativity Centers – Imagination Centers – Process Art – Music and Movement – Team Building
2. EXPLORATION
Exploration is the opportunity to push beyond our own perceptions and discover more about the world and ourselves.
When there is no constraint on outcomes, the potential for growth and self-discovery is boundless. Through KV Lives, Story Time with Novel Effect, and Exploration Centers, kids engage in open-ended play that nourishes every aspect of their development.
These experiences form the foundation for intellectual, social, physical, and emotional skills, paving the way for success in school and life. Play truly paves the way for learning!
ACTIVITIES

3. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Developing a healthy lifestyle and staying active is easiest when it feels natural and fun. Activities like Gaga Ball, playing on the playground, or engaging in music & movement sessions keep kids active while fostering a love for movement.
These intentional activities not only promote physical health but also help kids build lifelong skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership in a supportive team environment.
Along the way, they also strengthen positive mental and emotional well-being, creating a well-rounded foundation for growth.

4. REFLECTION
The opportunity to reflect is essential for personal growth and development. Reflection allows kids to pause intentionally and consider how and why things happen, fostering insight, metacognition, and complex learning.
Activities like Yoga, Chill Time, Ribbons, and Circle Time help kids develop empathy and character by encouraging them to process their experiences, understand others’ perspectives, and recognize that both success and failure are integral parts of learning.
Through reflection, children create personal strategies for the future while building a strong foundation for emotional and social growth.
