A traditional Austin event of local potters trying to fight hunger one bowl at a time. If you have never attended the Empty Bowl Project, you are missing out on some fabulous one-of-a-kind bowls. Every year local potters create unique bowls and sell them to raise money for local food programs. This year the event will be virtual, but bowl pick up will be November 21, so get online, check out the fantastic bowls, and get yours in time for thanksgiving.

Mozart’s 2021 Holiday Light Show

Take the family to enjoy a spectacular light and music display at Mozart’s Coffee; it’s back and bigger than years past. Annual Austin Trail of Lights

The Austin Trail of Lights is back for its 57th year. Starting November 27, you can take the family to celebrate the holidays nightly and enjoy over 2 million lights illuminating the park. Just like last year, this will be a drive-thru event; tickets are already on sale. austintrailoflights.org

Texas Football v.s. Kansas State

Take the family out to support the Longhorns on Friday, November 26, at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium as they take on Kansas State. The game starts at 11 am, so get out there early to enjoy some fun, family-friendly tailgating.

31st Annual ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot

Before you overindulge in all the delicious Thanksgiving food, why not join ThunderCloud Subs for its annual turkey trot. This fantastic event started over 30 years benefiting Caritas of Austin.
