The 24th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival (CLAIFF24) signifies a long-anticipated come-back to in-theater screenings. The event exhibits contemporary films and videos from Latin America (North, Central, South America, and the Caribbean) and the Iberian Peninsula. Movies and videos made by or about Latinxs in the United States or the rest of the world, along with films and videos by or about Native groups of the Americas, are also invited to play a part.

Soul Food Truck Fest

Austin’s 3rd Soul Food Truck Fest will give people a taste of the hidden soul food mobile truck treasures nestled all over Texas. From tasty BBQ to Cajun-seasoned seafood to traditional soul food, 15 food trucks will be offering steaming hot, mouth-watering food. Along with food, retail sellers will have authentic arts & crafts items for sale, and beer and wine will be available for purchase. Activity will include great music, kid-friendly activities, and much more.


Central Texas Juneteenth 2K, Parade & Celebration

Juneteenth, also known as “Freedom Day” or “Emancipation Day,” is the oldest recognized African American party commemorating the end of slavery. This yearly celebration features a parade with floats and amusement and a party with food and local sellers at Rosewood Park.
