July 4 is right around, and this year, the Fourth of July brings us events that we all missed out on in 2020. From park parties and neighborhood parades to firework displays, we are sure to have a great time celebrating our Nation’s birthday this year. Celebrate the Fourth of July with our guide to the best family events around Dallas.

Market Street Allen USA Celebration

701 Angel Pkwy.
Allen, TX 75002

Celebrate July 4 at Celebration Park on Saturday, June 26 this year, with food trucks, live music, and fireworks. Festivities will start at 7 pm and end at 10 pm; food and drinks are available for purchase till 930 PM. A free shuttle at Allen High School will be available for those that wish to avoid having to find parking.

Fourth of July Celebration

Dallas, Texas 75218

Celebrate our nation’s birthday all weekend long at the Dallas Arboretum. Festivities start on July 2 and end on the 4th. Families can enjoy a petting zoo, live music, food vendors, and more. On the 4th, enter to win a family four-pack to a concert series and enjoy $2 hot dogs, and root beer floats all weekend long.

Independence Day Celebration

Farmers Branch, TX 75234

Head out to the park to celebrate the nation’s birthday and the 75th anniversary of Framers Branch becoming a city. Free admission for Farmers Branch residents and a $5 fee for non-residents. Enjoy kids’ activities, concessions, and a firework show to end the night. Rental chairs will be available for $3, but it’s encouraged to bring your blankets and chairs. Festivities take place on Friday, July 2, and start at 6:30 pm.

Arlington Independence Day Fireworks

Arlington, TX 76011

Enjoy a spectacular fireworks display on July 3 in the skies over the Globe Life Field. Starting at 8 pm, select Globe Life Field, AT&T Stadium, and Esports Stadium Arlington and Expo Center parking lots will be open to the public for families to set up their chairs and tailgate to enjoy the fireworks display. In addition, patriotic music will be streaming on 95.9 The Ranch.

Park Cities Independence Day Parade

Dallas, TX 75205

You don’t want to miss this neighborhood parade, so make a plan to get there early to save your spot along the route. The parade will start at Highland Park Town Hall at 9 am and end at Goar Park. Festivities will take place after the parade with food, games, and music.

Yankee Doodle Parade

Denton, TX 76201

On July 3, head downtown for a time-honored Denton tradition and enjoy the Yankee Doodle Parade. The parade of decorated floats will start at 9 am and end at the Denton Civic Center, where you will find free family fun. From 10 am to 12 pm, your family can enjoy activities such as bull riding, rock climbing, food trucks, games, face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, caricature artists, and more!

Lake Cities 4th of July

Lake Dallas, TX 75065

Take the family to this one-of-a-kind celebration on July 3 that unites surrounding communities to celebrate the Nation’s birthday. The celebration begins with a patriotic parade, followed by some delicious food, contests, local vendors, and some great music. The parade starts at 9 am, fireworks will begin around 9 pm.

Liberty By The Lake

Celebrate the 4th of July at the 24th annual Liberty by The Lake Festival. They will kick off the weekend with a Liberty 5k, 10k, and 1M race on July 3. Then on the 4th, starting at 6 pm, there will be a concert, food vendors, and of course, fireworks show to close out the night.

Independence Fest 2021

Flower Mound, TX 75028

Kick-off Independence Fest on July 3 with a children’s parade in Flower Mound; kids can enjoy complimentary hot dogs, drinks, children’s activities, and live entertainment at the end of the parade. Then on the 4th, head to Bakersfield Park for live music, a vintage car show, local vendors, food & drink, a free kid’s zone, and end the night with some am zing fireworks. Gates open at 5 pm on the 4th.

Freedom Fest

Frisco, TX 75034

Celebrate our nation’s birthday with great music, fantastic food and of course some fantastic fireworks. On July 4, head out to the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center for a party in the plaza; families can enjoy a classic car show, a children’s expo, and purchase some delicious food. The fantastic fireworks display will begin around 945 pm. If you are looking for more to do, kick off the weekend with a 5K run and a Dachshund Dash on July 3.
