It’s Halloween season, and it’s the time of year to get spooky. Halloween is really a fun time for families, especially for young children. There are literally a lot of activities to choose from just about every weekend, starting in late September until late October. Halloween parades, ghost tours, haunted houses, costume parties are a big draw for guests seeking out chilling activities, haunted happenings in addition to family festivities. Although the current pandemic means that many Halloween activities were canceled in 2020, many attractions and destinations are generally making plans to ensure that Halloween festivities can continue in 2021. Halloween Dog Pawty at The Shops at Park Lane

Get ready for this fun Halloween event for you and your four-legged fur baby! Local pop-up vendors will be selling treats for you and your doggo. A professional photographer will take portraits of you and your fur-baby, so come dressed in your favorite matching Halloween costume. The event will be located at Park Lane’s dog park across from Bowl & Barrel next to Dental Loft, also near the playground.

Be a part of the annual Meadows Museum Trick or Treat! Bring the children in costume to discover the museum with a map that leads to works of art that have come to life. As soon as completed, the map can be traded for a spooky treat. This celebration is free for members, SMU faculty, and staff, and is free to the public with the price of admission. Kids have to be escorted by at least one adult over the age of 18.
