Our Discoverer Camp is crafted to be active, inspiring, and nurturing. Providing an atmosphere where our young campers can grow healthy, learn creatively, and develop greater self-confidence is paramount to what we do.

What We Do At Camp

Kidventure is focused on prioritizing the mental and physical health of every child. Our actions are purposeful and intentional in how we build our curriculum. A curriculum that prioritizes self-exploration through center-based play and fine and gross motor development. We have taken the power of camp as a platform to help develop the physical, social, and academic potential of each and every child.

DATES AND TIMES

Each camp week is Monday-Friday and includes unique activities and events. The cost of each week of camp includes all guest speakers, daily snacks, and all camp activities. Please refer to your specific campsite for costs.

  • Drop Off: 7:45 a.m.-8:00 a.m.
  • Camp Hours: 8 a.m.-3:00p.m.
  • Pick Up: 3:00 p.m.-3:15 p.m.
  • Post Camp: (Optional Add On) 3:00 p.m.-6 p.m.

CAMP ATTIRE

All Discoverers wear an ‘Official Explorer Camp Shirt’ daily to camp. This camp tradition helps us provide a safer camp experience that promotes camp unity. Campers should dress for active play and wear tennis shoes and socks. Camp shirts may be purchased at time of Summer registration and select locations.

Your Camp Team

The most important factor in your child's camp experience is the quality of their camp team. Without a doubt, we recruit, hire, train, and maintain the most qualified and talented staff anywhere.

  • All Adult Team: Most are certified teachers or education students
  • Low Ratios (1:6)
  • Must have a driving desire to make a difference in the world
  • All possess a fanatical amount of spirit & energy
  • All are CPR/First Aid certified for infant, child, and adult
  • All complete a state-approved sexual abuse prevention course
  • Every team member goes through annual criminal background and sex offender registry checks
