Best Places to See Fireworks in Dallas

If you enjoy celebrating Independence Day with fireworks lighting up the sky, here are the top spots in Dallas to do just that. Nothing says “Happy Birthday, America!” quite like loud, colorful explosions overhead. Dallas natives seem to agree, as the city offers numerous firework shows and July 4th celebrations. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite places to watch the sky light up in red, white, and blue.

Liberty By The Lake Festival

The Colony goes all out for the Fourth of July with events from sunrise to sunset. The day starts with a 5k and one-mile fun run at 6:30 a.m., followed by a parade at 9:15 a.m., and culminates in a festival with food trucks and live music at The Athletic Club at 6 p.m. There’s also a watermelon eating contest at 7 p.m. (first come, first served, limited to 10 contestants per age category). Friends of WRR Presents A Star-Spangled Spectacular!

Escape the Texas heat with an indoor celebration featuring the Dallas Winds. Guest conductor Col. Jason Fettig, former conductor of the U.S. Marine Band, will lead the performance of patriotic classics like “America the Beautiful,” “Armed Forces Medley,” and music from The Patriot. Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Festival

Flower Mound Independence Fest

Catch a live performance by Pat Green, known for “I Like Texas,” at Flower Mound’s Independence Fest.
