Dance of the Cosmos at Miller Outdoor Theatre

This event celebrates the powerful imagery of Shiva, the Cosmic Dancer in Indian mythology, through four various Indian traditional dance forms-grounded Bharatanatyam, dramatic Kuchipudi, fluid Odissi, and dynamic Kathak-which intertwine to symbolize the dance of destruction and creation, the duality of man and woman, and all the five elements (air, earth, water, fire, and ether) that are encompassed inside Shiva’s being.
