Kidventure is committed to our campers and their family’s health and well-being. Camp provides so many opportunities for our kids, however, there are times when additional support is needed. Kidventure is working to help provide that additional support and resources beginning this year. We are proud to introduce two therapists who have worked closely with Kidventure for several years. Their services focus on providing caring and focused support for various challenges including addictive behavior, anxiety, depression, and others for young children, teens, and adults. These counselors utilize a variety of approaches including Play Therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions, and Mindfulness-Based Approaches to help bring a greater sense of well-being and happiness.
Both therapists we recommend are not only very caring and accomplished professionals but have also served as an integral part of the Kidventure Team in the past. They possess a unique understanding of camp, children, and the many challenges facing our kids. We are pleased to provide their services as an important resource for your family.

Taylor Blunseon
In her work with children and teens, Taylor’s therapeutic approach is based on each client’s specific needs. No matter who is sitting in front of her, Taylor’s priority is to make you feel safe enough to be who you are – at that moment. A trusting relationship is one of the most powerful tools a therapist can provide, which is why she places the therapeutic relationship at such high importance throughout the time together. Her goal is to provide an environment that is non-judgemental and open where clients are validated, heard, and confident in finding their voice. Most people just want to be heard and she is there to listen. Whether it is dealing with the stress of life, the pressure to be successful, relationship issues, or dealing with anxiety, or low self-esteem, you deserve to feel good.
Taylor has worked in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, nonprofits, and recovery centers. She strives to be compassionate, authentic, and supportive. This way clients feel comfortable exploring different aspects of their life and are empowered to become the best version of themselves.
