10 Easter Egg Hunts in Austin

Spring has sprung, and Easter is right around the corner, which means plenty of Easter egg hunts in the coming weeks. Egg hunting is one of the most enjoyable activities during the holiday. Almost every area in Austin, from Georgetown to Kyle, hosts its own hunt, making it easy to find an event for all ages and abilities. Many hunts even offer separate time slots for different age groups, ensuring a fair chance for everyone.

I still remember my first big Easter egg hunt at a local park when I was six. I had my pastel-colored basket, and my parents had hyped me up for days about finding the “golden egg.” When the hunt began, I ran so fast that I tripped over my own feet, tumbling right next to an egg hidden under a bush. My mom swears I planned the fall, but honestly, I was just clumsy! To my delight, it was one of the special prize eggs, and I won a chocolate bunny the size of my head. Watching my own kids take part in egg hunts now brings back those same feelings of excitement.

If you’re looking for a great egg hunt this year, here are some of the best ones happening in Austin:
