Overview

A 19 year Texas tradition, the Kidventure Discover program gives our early childhood campers an active and rewarding summer like no other. While some camps take a very specialized approach to their curriculum, our Discover program immerses campers in arts and crafts, hands-on science, music, balance and rhythm games, physically active play and more each week of camp. Our diverse themes keep every week unique, while the structure and routine of the camp week remains consistent throughout the summer.

Day at a Glance (Example Monday)

9:00 AM	Opening Ceremonies	Our pep rally and energizer for the day
9:15 AM	Division into groups	Breaking into our weekly groups
9:30 AM	Rotation 1: Centers Time	Creative, unstructured play time at our full early childhood centers area
10:00 AM	Rotation 2: Circle Time	Memory, cognition, and coordination activities while having fun with our counselors!
10:15 AM	Playground Time	What’s cooler than having a blast on the playground with your friends and counselors? Nothing!
11:00 AM	Lunch	We love food!
12:00 PM	Rotation 4: Chill Time	An indoor and restful time for our campers. Choices are to nap, color, read or any other quiet activity
12:45 PM	Rotation 3: Science	Education, but still interactive and fun themed science
1:30 PM	Rotation 5: Art	Daily art that focuses on coordination, following multi-step instructions, and individual creativity
2:15 PM	Rotation 6: Large Group Game	High-activity, indoor, full speed games that fit in with the theme
3:00 PM	Snack	All peanut and peanut byproduct free, and SO delicious!
3:15 PM	Closing Ceremonies	The closing of our camp day with awards, songs, skits, and more
3:30 PM	Carpool	End of the day!

Campers take restroom and water breaks regularly throughout the day.
