Franklin was born and raised in Dallas as a first-generation Texan. He joined the Kidventure team in the summer of 2015 as a camp counselor while studying at the University of Texas at Dallas. After graduating with his B.S. in Child Learning & Development and Psychology, Franklin continued to work summers at Kidventure until he joined the team full time in 2021. Outside of camp, Franklin spends his time watching silly YouTube videos, trying new vegan recipes, exploring different parts of the city, and learning more about people.
