KIDVENTURE INC. LAUNCHES KIDVENTURE WAY LEADERSHIP ACADEMY FOR YOUTH FOR ITS 2016 SUMMER CAMPS
Kidventure, Inc. formalizes the Kidventure Way Leadership Academy for Youth(™), its proprietary award-winning curriculum in practice since 1994.
AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA, February 29, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — Kidventure, Inc., (“Kidventure”) an incorporation headquartered in Austin, Texas, is thrilled to announce the formalization of its “Kidventure Way Academy for Youth(™) (“KV Way”), following its successful curation over that company’s twenty-two years of operation. The ‘KV Way’ curriculum entails teaching of children aged 3-16 principles of respect, trust, communication, growth, integrity, compassion, perseverance, confidence, appreciation for nature, self-respect, and self-discipline using collaborative team-building games, positive reinforcement as well as individually-focused exercises. Since its inception in 1994, Kidventure has nurtured the development of these ‘human-skills’ in order to better prepare children for a more successful and happy life. The delivery of this curriculum takes place under the most exciting and fun atmosphere that is summer camp.
“We created Kidventure because we recognized that when done right, camp is this amazing opportunity to teach kids to be confident, to be brave, to be independent and caring. At Kidventure everything we do is designed to instill these skills and create an environment where your child grows strong and happy.,” said Mike McDonell, Kidventure President and CEO.
The formalization of KV Way as its own unique methodology is the result of a comprehensive accounting of the award-winning programming that has been in place since its inception. Recent internal audits of best practices, documentation of successful outcomes, and detailed client and staff surveys facilitated the company’s production of the KV Way curriculum.
“Kidventure has received dozens of awards and accolades over the years for its innovative approach to guiding kids. Most recently we were honored to receive the Nurture My Child ‘Favorite Overall Summer Camp Award for 2015’ and the ‘Favorite Overnight Summer Camp Award for 2015’. Parents simply love the spark in their kids when they come home. That is the KV Way,” said Katie Novosad, Vice President of Business Operations at Kidventure.
“Kidventure is more than just camp. It is about allowing kids to thrive and grow in a positive and safe environment surrounded by great role models. It is a place where friendships are formed outside the walls of social media and most importantly the value of a person is instilled,” said Michael Valka, Kidventure Vice President of Houston Operations.
In 2015 Kidventure was invited to by Chinese officials to bring the Kidventure Way to schools there to inspire integrity in their culture. In formalizing its KV Way curriculum already in longstanding use, Kidventure, Inc. plans to expand the utility of its curriculum by licensing it to school districts, churches, city and state-run youth initiatives, at-risk intervention programs, and other camp programs across the United States and beyond.
