Camp Rough Life
Well, maybe not so ‘rough.’ For over seven years, Kidventure has been a family tradition for the Rough Hollow and Lakeway communities with a summer program rooted in adventure, learning, and growth. Set at the Highlands Community Center in Rough Hollow, Camp Rough Life provides exceptional aquatic, athletic, and educational amenities in an inspiring setting.

Each camp week is Monday-Friday. The cost of each week of camp includes special activities, guest speakers, daily snack, and all other camp activities.

Kidventure does offer a Multi Child Discount. The discount is full tuition price for the first child and then 10% off the base tuition for each additional child
Deposits:
At the time of registration, a $50 deposit will be charged for each session of camp. Deposits apply toward your camper(s) tuition.
Session Payments:
When you register for camp sessions, you will have the option to pay for your sessions in full at the time of registration or enroll in our payment plans. Our payment plans are set up as automatic billing payments for your convenience. If you select this option, you will pay the $50 deposit(s) for each session you selected at checkout and then you will be automatically billed your remaining balance(s) 10 days prior to each session starting.

Every camp week is a unique adventure designed to provide our campers with a wide variety of activities and events designed to promote fun, learning, and development. All activities are based on our 4 Cornerstones of Creativity, Physical Activity, Exploration, and Reflection.

Made from scratch, healthy, and super popular with the kids. Our camp lunch program is offered on a weekly basis and prepared by Java Dive here in Austin.

The most important factor in your child’s camp experience is the quality of their camp team. Without a doubt, we recruit, hire, train, and maintain the most qualified and talented staff anywhere.
- All adult team. Most are certified teachers and education majors.
- Low staff to camper ratios (Explorer Program 1:10).
- Must have a driving desire to make a difference in the world.
- All possess a fanatical amount of spirit & energy.
- All CPR/First Aid certified for infant, child, and adult.
- All complete state-approved sexual abuse prevention course.
- Every team member goes through annual criminal background and sex offender registry checks.
