We need your camper’s immunization record!
If you have not already provided us with a copy of your child’s immunization record, please fax to 713.864.5245. We need it in order for your child to attend camp!

Discoverer Highlights (Ages 3-5)

Monday Playground, Theme Banner, Make your own flag, Parrot Puppet, Soccer, and Curly Snake
Tuesday Playground, Trip around the World, Kool-aid painting, Color Milk
Wednesday SPLASH DAY! Free art with cereal, and big playground
Thursday Train Relay Races, Frog Puppet, Special Snack (Rice Krispies), World Map, and Parachute games
Friday KV LIVE: DJ Dance Party, Dance Freeze, Bubbles, Soccer, and TALENT SHOW

Weekly Activities Also Include: Early Childhood Centers, Art Projects, Science Experiments, Motor Skills, Fine Arts, and More….

You are invited to attend our talent show and awards assembly on Friday at 2:30pm in the gym. Please enjoy this fun and lively show and feel free to bring other family members! We look forward to seeing you!

Special Note for This Week:

  • Please check the Lost & Found for any items that your camper might be missing. We will be donating any items not picked up by the end of the week.
  • On Wednesday, please have your child come in their swim suits with a change of clothes,towel, and sunscreen.
  • Please send an extra change of clothes with your camper in case of an accident.

We made it!! I have enjoyed going around the world with each of you and look forward to this last week of celebrating all the AWESOME places we went! Please join me in wrapping up this amazing summer with the best week yet! -Holly

Explorer & Adventurer Highlights (Entering 1st Grade-Age 13)

Monday We will create a talking cow card using black and white card stock.
Tuesday We will play a game called mud tag, where everyone is it and balls are used for tagging.
Wednesday Field Trip: Stone Moves Rock Gym. NOTE: You MUST bring a signed waiver for Stone Moves to camp by Wednesday for your camper to be able to participate in rock climbing. CLICK HERE to print.
Thursday In Science, we will watch and enjoy “fireworks” when milk interacts with dish soap. We will also play the final round of camper vs. counselor dodge ball!
Friday Please be sure to join us for our final talent show for the summer at 2:30pm.

Special Notes for This Week:

  • We must have a signed “Stone Moves” waiver for your camper BY WEDNESDAY for them to be able to participate in rock climbing on Wednesday. Please click here to download and print.

General Camp Information

Camp Lunch Options:

1. Provide your own lunches for the week
2. Lunch for the Week: Cost $30. The cost for lunches for the week is $30 and may not be broken into individual days. View the Menu Here
3. Just Chick-fil-A Friday: Cost $6

The meal plan and Chick-fil-A Friday must be purchased at least one week in advance of the start of the camp week and must be paid for by that date. NO substitutions to the menu are available for either program. Kidventure also provides snack and drink to our campers each day. All snacks are peanut and peanut by-product free.

Important Drop Off and Pick Up Information

St. Mark’s Episcopal School and Church 3816 Bellaire Blvd Houston, TX 77025
St. Mark’s is located at the corner of Bellaire Blvd and Stella Link. It is located in the city of West University four miles from the Texas Medical Center and just minutes south of the Galleria. Enter the parking lot from Bellaire and enter camp through the main school entrance.

Arrival and Pick Up Procedures
On your first day of camp for the summer, a parent must accompany the camper into camp for drop-off. During pre and post camp all parents must park and escort their camper to the sign-in/out desk. All Drop off and Pick up will take place in the school cafeteria next to the covered walk way.

Pre Camp Drop off: 7:00 AM to 8:45 AM
Regular Drop off: 8:45 AM to 9:00 AM
Regular Pick Up: 3:30 PM to 3:45 PM
Post Camp Pick Up: 3:45 PM to 6:00 PM (There is a $1 per minute late fee after 6 PM)

Pick-up Safety Concern
Just a reminder that regular pick-up starts at 3:30 p.m. If you arrive at 3:15 or later we would ask that you start or move into the car line for pick-up. We want to refrain from campers and parents walking through the traffic areas for everyone’s safety. If there is a concern that you would like speak to one of the director’s about you may pull up out of the traffic flow after your child has been picked up to speak to them. Thank you for keeping Kidventure as safe as possible.

What to Wear and Bring to Camp

  • Comfortable shorts
  • Tennis shoes and socks (please no flip-flops)
  • Hat or cap
  • Sunscreen
  • Lunch (If bringing your own)
  • A backpack for all your stuff
  • Blanket or Sleeping Pad for quiet time (Discoverers Only age 3-Entering K).

Please Do Not Bring To Camp:

  • Toys or electronics (This includes Game Boys, Nintendo, and Ipod)
  • Mobile Phones
