Letter From the President

Send to a Friend

Dear Families,

We want to welcome you to our 16th year of summer camp. A mission by definition is, “A specific task by which a person or group is charged.” That mission can be one that aims to put people on Mars, or one that strives to help others in far off countries. Missions have objectives, missions have goals, and missions have a plan.

We are proud to present our 2010 summer camp theme Mission Kidventure: Global Discovery. This year’s summer camp will provide plenty of objectives and goals including experiencing adventure, having tons of fun, learning about our world, and creating lasting memories.

But the real mission here is the one we have had since our inception 16 years ago. That mission provides for the foundation of who we are and what we seek to bring to your child. If you want a kid to grow to be successful, put that kid in situations where he can learn to succeed. If you want to teach a child to become a confident adult, give that child opportunity to foster confidence. And if you want a kid to lead a healthy and active life, then put her in environments that promote those very ideals. This is what Kidventure Camp is all about and this remains our number one mission. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives our campers, one camp day at a time.

So if you have been with us for many summers or thinking about being a part of Kidventure for the very first time, we would like to welcome you.

On behalf of the entire Kidventure Team, we look forward to an unforgettable summer with you and a ‘Mission Accomplished!’

In the Spirit of Children,

Mike McDonell, President
Kidventure
